Lesson Policies:
Lessons take place weekly and will be scheduled at the convenience of student, teacher, and parent. Occasionally your weekly lesson may be a group lesson in order to work on performance, ensemble, and listening skills. At that time, you will have the chance to sign up for which group lesson time you would like.
Payment
Payment may be made weekly or at the start of each month. Cash or checks are accepted.
Missed Lessons
-If a lesson must be missed, the student or parent must call me at (480) 202-7587 at least 24 hours in advance in order to not be charged for the lesson.
-If I am notified 24 hours in advance, I will do my best to make up the lesson, but if I am unable, I will allow that payment to count for the next unpaid lesson.
-If I am NOT notified 24 hours in advance, I will do my best to make up the lesson, but if I am unable, you will still be charged for the lesson. If you pay weekly, you will need to bring two weeks’ worth of payment to the next lesson.
-If your lesson was missed due to an emergency, this policy will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Tardiness
Due to a tight teaching schedule, if you are tardy for a lesson, your lesson will still end at the same time it was originally scheduled to end.
Equipment
You need to bring your flute, cleaning cloth, lesson book, repertoire, and assignment notebook to each lesson. Your instrument must be in good working order.
Please contact me if you need help with finding a flute or with getting your flute repaired.
